"Hello there!" Thanks for taking the time to get to know us!
My name is Beverly Pounds, I am the owner of Peckerwood Unique Creations, LLC. After my partner and I lost our jobs due to the local plant closing...we had to make some decisions! So after months of trying to figure out what to do....we decided we didn't want to move from here. We love it here!! So knowing we were taking a chance, we decided to open a store that featured genunine "hand" made furniture and decor. So....here we are!!!
In the picture above is my partner and the creator of the "unique" pieces here at Peckerwood. His name is Lance Yarger, Sr. It is his love of wood and his vision of combining certain woods together that make up our pieces of furniture. It is the "artist" in him that sees the beauty that natural wood has to offer.
Even though he prefers to create pieces that show the woods beauty, he will also create pieces that match your style. Painted, stained or antiqued finishes. Your choice. We will be happy to create a unique piece to your specifications.
